Privacy Policy

We collect the following, depending on how you use the Site:

• Information you send us. If you use the “Let’s Talk” form, we collect what you enter: your business type, business name, website, the answers you provide about your needs, your name, email address, and optional phone number. Please don’t include sensitive personal information (such as financial account numbers or government identification numbers) in the form.
• Analytics information, only if you accept. If you click “Accept” on our analytics notice, we use Google Firebase Analytics to collect information about how the Site is used, such as pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies. If you decline or ignore the notice, analytics does not run.
• Technical and log information. Our hosting provider automatically records standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.
• Map data requests. Some pages show maps. To display them, your browser requests map tiles from a third-party tile service (OpenFreeMap, using OpenStreetMap data), which receives your IP address and request details as part of delivering the tiles.
• Your preference. We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t keep asking.

• To respond to your inquiry, discuss your project, and prepare quotes
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site
• To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used (only if you accepted analytics)
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

We share information only as needed to run the Site and our business:

• Service providers. Google (Firebase hosting, database, and analytics) and the map tile service described above process information on our behalf or as independent providers under their own terms.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business changes. If our business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer to the successor.

You decide whether analytics runs: choose “Accept” or “Decline” on the notice. Declining keeps analytics off. You can also clear this Site’s data in your browser settings to see the notice again.

You can additionally block analytics cookies in your browser, or use Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond, provide quotes, and maintain ordinary business records, then delete or de-identify them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics service.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or provide a copy. To make a request, email hello@millergeo.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we’ll respond within the time required by applicable law.

You may also unsubscribe from any communication from us by replying and asking us to stop.

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The Site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date below shows the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
